The last weekend was the holiday of Sports in Japan! Many children had a sports festival at school.
As you know Japanese people work a lot and do not take a rest, but really we have a lot of holidays also. The government put the special holiday after or before weekend, so we have three days off almost every month. Otherwise, we work too much!!
And on the national holiday, we put the Japanese flag out of the house.

先週末は体育の日でしたね。
いろんな学校で体育祭や運動会が行われたはず。
日本人は働き過ぎだと言われますが、実は休日もたくさんあります。ほぼ毎月ですよね？！
そうでもしないと、働きすぎてしまうので・・・
そして祝日には国旗を家の外に飾ります。
祝日万歳！
