2009年6月1日午後7：40頃から皇居1周

遂に皇居デビュー！メンバーはMr.倉持とMs.美奈子と私。
ACE INN から自転車で皇居まで行き（10分？）、自転車を置いてMr.倉持と私は走って、Ms.美奈子は自転車で伴走してくれた。
月曜日だったからか、ランナーはそこまで多くはなかった。が、やっぱりランニング今人気なんだなぁと実感。グループで走っている人多し。みんなで楽しそうに走っているのが何とも良い光景。
私たちがとても感激したのが、東京の夜景と皇居とお堀。
東京生まれ東京育ちの私だが、昨日はなんだか、観光客になった気分で走れた。
左は殿様が出てきそうな仰々しいお城。右には東京・丸の内のキラキラ★高層ビル。
左で天皇がゆっくり書物を読み、右で高給取りのリーマンがパソコンをカチャカチャ。
その間を私たちが走り、小さな白鳥がスイスイ泳ぐ。
「すげー」
そんな感じで、周りを見渡しながらの余裕ランも、竹橋辺りから上り坂になり、周りも暗くなり、ハーハーし始めた。
ウェストポートポーチじじぃに追い抜かされ、私のスイッチが入り、じじぃを抜き返す。太った外人も追い抜かす。さっきまでスカートを翻して走っていたお姉ちゃんも追い抜かす。
ハーハー。辛さ満点のところで、いやな予感。じじぃが追い上げて来て、抜かされた―。
そこで、ゴール。千鳥ヶ淵の信号でゴール！
愛車「富士子」が待ってました。

こりゃ、最高ですよ。
東京で皇居ラン。絶対お勧めです！
エースイン新宿に泊まって、ランニング。そのあと、歌舞伎町か二丁目で生ビール。

We finally ran the most famous course in Japan, which is around the Imperial Palace!!
It was so much fun to run this course even though we were all born and grew up in Tokyo!! You can feel the "Samurai" mood and also "Modern Tokyo" together. We ran between the palace where the emperor might enjoy reading and the high buildings where Japanese workaholics are typing their computers.
We ran from "Chidori-ga-huchi", and it was a downward slope. Mr. Kuramochi and I were running with a talk. Then I saw two little swans swiming the moat! It was kind of unbelievable to see such a peaceful moment in Tokyo.
When we got to "Takebashi", the slightly upward slope began. We breathed hard, but when an old man,"Jijii", passed me, I got to be serious. I caught up him, but he ran up to me again. It was our goal there.
